Company Overview Founded in 1999 OurWebmaster is a small partner-based business that has developed a strong community based website design, maintenance, and marketing company with an excellent reputation.
Location Centrally located in beautiful Gold Beach Oregon, office space is shared with a local Real Estate Agency – close to amenities and convenient for clients. OurWebmaster is located on the Southern Oregon Coast in one of the most spectacular and beautiful coastal regions in the Country. Gold Beach is the County seat for Curry County which is bordered on the south by California, on the west by the Pacific Ocean, on the north by Coos County, and on the east by Josephine County. The county covers 1,648 square miles. The County has been economically challenged since logging was restricted by federal regulation in the 80's, but OurWebmaster has positioned itself as a source for local marketing talents – both online and in print. Reasons to Join Our Team Our office environment is anything but typical: casual dress 5 days a week, comfortable surroundings, flexible schedules. This is a great opportunity to live life at a slower pace but still make a difference in your community and the world. The ever changing marketplace presents challenges for learning new skills and expanding your existing talents. This position is geared to an individual who is energetic, goal-oriented and wants to be part of a small team even while you take the time you've always wanted to experience the natural beauty of the region. We support a healthy balance between work and home. Meet the Team OurWebmaster was started in 1999 by Jim Coffee. He was joined in 2001 by Amber Hughes. Jim is the "big picture" person and Amber is the "detail" person. Together, their applied strengths and weaknesses have forged a thriving business with many opportunities for growth. Jim, the creative & artistic, design-oriented side of the business is retiring and moving out of the community. Although he intends to remain involved in the business, his level of participation will be declining. Jim has acted as the "point man" for the business and was actively involved and well-known in the community. As a part-time teacher of digital imaging and website design Jim has also kept up with new Internet technologies for OurWebmaster clientele. Also a professional photographer, Jim's photographic abilities have greatly enhanced client websites. Amber, the detail oriented – administratively minded, behind-the-scenes partner will be remaining in the community and continue to operate the business full time. Her hands-on role and follow-through with the clients has been the glue which keeps the business operating. She manages the day-to-day administration and is primarily responsible for the maintenance of client websites and ongoing client relationships. Career Opportunity OurWebmaster is looking for a seasoned Web Professional to fill the gap left by Jim's departure.
