This activity has been provided at no charge to our clients but unfortunately, as the efforts become more concerted, OurWebmaster is spending more time to keep your website up-to-date.
Effective January 1, 2019, OurWebmaster is offering a website security management program that will continue to keep all of your systems, themes, modules, and plugins up-to-date in an effort to keep your site secure.
OurWebmaster will also address minor issues which develop in your website as a result of any updates or upgrades.
The cost for the CMS Security / Update Management service is $15.00 per month.
Failure to keep your website up-to-date leads to vulnerabilities that may allow your site to be compromised. Repairing a compromised website is not inexpensive. OurWebmaster efforts to repair a hacked website are charged on a per-hour basis and can become quite spendy.
***Note: Keeping your website up-to-date is a common sense approach to site security however it is not foolproof. Your files may still be compromised however it is far less likely to happen. As with home security, keeping your doors and windows locked will make you less vulnerable to theft but not immune to theft.
